Barn swallows

So I have a family of Barn swallows nesting above my front door. The mother stays with the chicks all the time while the father spends his day warding off other males and feeding the hungry chicks. They took about three weeks to hatch; and all four seem to have made it. Pictures coming.

Olympus FE-180 Review

Well for only $159 at fry’s it was a pretty good deal, 6 mega pixel, takes great shots although the motion stabilization leaves something to be desired, the flash is very bright and it comes with rechargeable batteries and a charger…I broke the LCD screen the second week I had it because it doesn’t ship with a leather case, but hey, it still takes great photos and fits in my pocket..highly recommended if you can grab one for 100-130 these days, the olympus lens isn’t the best but close enough to the zeis and sony..

How to reduce red eye

To heck with all that double flash action that makes everybody blink when you take a picture. Try having them look at your shoulder or hold your hand out to your side(you often see professional photographers doing this)..Also use somethings like Picassa, Red Eye Remover 2.8 or Lightroom to remove any residual redeye before you post on the web..
